Shipping & Returns
As of January 2021, Private Stock Hair does not process orders on weekends, during states of emergency, or on holidays. All orders are shipped from North Carolina via USPS unless otherwise arranged. While we strive to ensure timely delivery, please consider the following timeframes before placing your order. Some orders may ship sooner than others. Feel free to contact us for an approximate shipping time before ordering. In the event of delays with order processing or shipping, we will promptly notify you via the email on file.
Shipping Terms:
- We offer free shipping within the US.
- Orders are processed and shipped from North Carolina via USPS unless otherwise arranged.
- Private Stock Hair is not responsible for theft, lost shipments, courier mishandling, or "acts of nature" related to shipping. We cooperate with postal claims as necessary.
- Please consider the following timeframes before placing your order. Some orders may ship sooner than others. Contact us for approximate shipping time before ordering. If there are delays with your order processing time or shipping, we'll promptly notify you via your email on file.
Processing Time:
- Processing time: 1-3 business days.
- Orders may only be canceled within the first 24 hours of payment. Please reach out to Customer Care for assistance with cancellations or any questions about your order. All cancellation request must be in writing and made within 48 hours from purchase.
Shipping and Delivery:
- Shipping: 7-10 business days.
- Delivery times vary based on your location.
- USA delivery: 1-3 business days.
- Canada/International delivery: 5-7 business days.
- Customers are responsible for Customs-related costs and all fees.
- All Private Stock Hair orders require customer signature upon delivery.
- Shipping and billing address for delivery must be the same.
Payment and Refunds:
- Your payment and any fees must be paid before an order will begin processing or shipping.
- As of June 18, 2019, Private Stock Hair no longer issues order refunds. We do not offer refunds for returns related to failed delivery attempts or delivery refusal. Some returns will incur a charge of up to 20 percent (20%) of the total purchase price for restocking and handling fees.
Returns and Exchanges:
Any and all exchange request must be reviewed and pre-approved in writing. Customers may be required to pay associated shipping fees. Some exchanges may incur a restocking fee or up to 20% or the total purchase price. We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages however we will happily cooperate with any investigation for lost or stolen packages as necessary. Please review the following details regarding our policy on "new and unused" products: We may reship most failed deliveries, unclaimed, refused or "Return to Sender" packages once we have received and inspected the returned package.

- The hair must not have been wet.
- The hair must not have been combed or brushed.
- No products should have been applied to the hair.
- Original bindings must be intact and not removed, cut, or tampered with.
- The hair must be the actual product originally sent, associated with the order number related to the order.
We stand behind the quality of our human hair extensions and prioritize customer health and safety. Due to sanitary reasons and health concerns, we cannot accept returns of the following items:
- Clip-in extensions
- Frontals
- Custom orders
- Bulk hair
- Closures
- Wigs
Customers are encouraged to inspect the hair upon receipt and contact us within 48 hours for any craftsmanship issues.
Approved returns for exchange must be "new and unused," meeting the specific criteria outlined above. Please rest assured that all of our products and orders are carefully inspected before shipping.
Note:
- Bulk hair, frontals, closures, custom orders, clip-ins, and wigs are not eligible for return or exchange.
Order Status Update
- We do not provide status updates between order processing and shipping. However, if there is an issue with your payment or a delay in processing and shipping, we will notify you promptly.
- Although you may not receive updates during this period, we welcome any inquiries you may have. Please feel free to contact us with your questions or concerns.
